The Oppo A16K has a 6.52 inches, 720 x 1600 pixels IPS display with a pixel density of 269ppi. This smartphone is available in Blue and Black colors and has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera for selfies. The A16K has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage space, Android 11, and Mediatek Helio G35 chipset.

Indeed, the Oppo A16K smartphone boasts impressive features, notably its expansive storage capacity of either 64GB or 32GB, paired with a generous RAM of 4GB or 3GB. Oppo highlights the Nano-Water-drop Notch on the Oppo A16K, which is 31.4% smaller than its predecessor. However, a refresh rate higher than 60 Hz would have been more appealing.

The display’s 450 nits type brightness ensures visibility even outdoors. Despite its 720 x 1600 pixels resolution and ~270 PPI density, the display panel is satisfactory. It spans a 102.6 cm2 area, with a ~83.0% screen-to-body ratio, enhancing the viewing experience.

Cameras

Oppo’s decision to equip the A16K with a single main camera remains a topic of surprise, diverging from the previous generation’s three rear cameras plus a selfie camera. The A16K features two cameras: a 13 MP main camera, identical to the Oppo A15, and a 5 MP selfie camera capable of 1080p@30fps videos. Despite this, Oppo asserts, “The powerful camera is built to capture anything you want with precise clarity, in any conditions.” Testing is the only way to verify this claim.

Battery

The Oppo A16k is powered by a 4,230mAh battery, ensuring a full day’s usage with ease. According to Oppo, users can enjoy up to 17 hours of HD video streaming or up to 8 hours of gaming on a single charge. While the battery’s charging speed is limited to 10W, Oppo includes the appropriate charger to achieve optimal charging times.
